Nothing is more charming than a German Shepherd puppy. The fluffy coat, the delightful ears, and the enchanting little face are utterly adorable.
The sole drawback of acquiring a puppy is how quickly they mature. Time passes like a swift breeze, and a once-tiny body swiftly becomes a graceful and majestic being.
When Lucas Smissen and his spouse, Kelsey, finally welcomed their ideal German Shepherd puppy named Kylo, they opted to document his growth.
They would set up a GoPro camera and capture a picture of Kylo each day until he reached one year of age.
Eventually, Kylo became so accustomed to it that as soon as Lucas would grab his camera, he would rush to the designated spot each morning.
Lucas and Kelsey maintain a YouTube channel named The Journey, focusing on young adults and motivating others to pursue their dreams by employing their talents and abilities to create a positive impact in the world.
Their motto is “Tomorrow Is Too Late”, so on their YouTube page and various other social media sites, you can observe them exploring beautiful locations globally with their small family.
On January 29, 2020, they released a video titled “German Shepherd Puppy Growing Up, 8 Weeks To 1 Year” showcasing their new pup, Kylo.
Lucas expressed in the description:
“It took a considerable amount of time to create this, but it was absolutely worth the effort! Kylo is the latest addition to our family; we got him approximately 15 months ago, and we’ve cherished every moment with him. My goal was to capture my German Shepherd growing from a playful puppy at 8 weeks to his 1-year birthday. I achieved this using my GoPro, taking one photo daily for an entire year, and here’s how it turned out!”

One viewer remarked, “Appreciate the suggestion; I will also snap a picture of my doggo each day when I bring him home,” and others expressed gratitude for the lovely video.
However, Kylo isn’t the only young one in the household. Prior to him, the Smissen family had a Corgi named Bilbo, and the two have become like brothers and the best of pals.

Recently, the family welcomed a new little member, and Kylo excels at watching over his human brother.
