When remarkable dog enthusiasts, Karya and Oliver Davies, decided to exchange vows, months of wedding arrangements commenced.
From selecting the gown to coordinating the location, these newlyweds truly had a considerable amount of tasks to handle.
Nevertheless, when it came time for them to determine who to invite, one name absolutely had to be on that list… Rufus!
“We adore dogs in our family, they are such an integral part of our lives and we couldn’t envisage celebrating our day without them. When the registrar initially read our personal vows, she honestly thought we had a young child based on the few sentences we had both penned about our golden retriever Rufus,” Davies informed Newsweek.
So, upon discovering that their venue was actually dog-friendly, there was only one reasonable course of action – invite the pups!
Doggo Heaven
The guidelines were straightforward… if you received an invitation for the main event and you were a proud dog owner, bring your canine companion along!
And rest assured, they did.
Seven delightful pups attended the grand occasion: Rufus, Orlando, Eddie, Dexter, Willow, Harley and Melodie. They undoubtedly were the focus of attention – until the bride appeared, of course!
Fortunately, a wedding photographer named Sophie Collins captured the entire heartwarming moment and shared it on her social media, gaining the attention of numerous animal aficionados globally.
The video portrays the beautiful girls and handsome boys exhibiting their finest manners, demonstrating to everyone what constitutes a great guest.
No surprise: the internet adored it!
