Any animal enthusiast will attest that the moment they encounter an animal requiring assistance, they are compelled to use whatever means necessary to aid them.
This is particularly applicable to shelters and rescue organizations.
The personnel at Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue gets numerous inquiries regarding animals who find themselves in precarious situations. Whenever such calls are received, they prepare and quickly head out.
This was the case when they received multiple reports about a pup lying face down in a muddy ditch.
However, they were soon to realize that not everything appeared as it was.
Urgent Call
Upon receiving the initial call, the experienced rescue team immediately proceeded to the site.
In just 20 minutes, they reached the area, and upon finally locating the dog, they sensed something was amiss.
They approached for a closer inspection and realized that their help was, in fact, unnecessary as this wasn’t a real dog.
“It was a statue! A statue that had already been retrieved by a staff member on the scene!” reported the rescue in a Facebook update regarding the incident.
Nonetheless, the rescue crew didn’t mind attending to a faux dog.
According to a representative from Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue, they were genuinely pleased to have received so many inquiries about the matter and noted that, in the end, it turned out to be no emergency at all – merely a joyful little incident.
“It’s always reassuring when there isn’t an injured animal needing care,” the representative conveyed to The Dodo.
Significance Of Rescuers
This “fake” rescue exemplifies just how committed rescuers can be regarding animals requiring aid.
Globally, thousands of individuals dedicate their time, resources, and finances to demonstrate to vulnerable animals that, with a bit of love and nurturing, life is indeed valuable.
Similar to the rescuers in today’s narrative, they are prepared to go to great lengths to achieve this.
Thus, I want to take this moment to express my gratitude to every individual who has offered assistance and shown an animal that they are destined to coexist with one another.Thank you, everyone – you are the real heroes.
