Upon reading it, she realized she needed to bring the box inside without delay. The note stated: “found on side of the road.” After this revelation, the nurse instantly understood that animals were likely inside, and the absence of any sounds from the box heightened her fears. Once inside, she eagerly opened the box, and as soon as she glimpsed inside, a weight lifted off her shoulders. Two weary kitten sisters gazed back at her, warm and exhausted yet grateful for their rescue. “[They were] anxious, but glad to see someone,” a spokesperson from Noah’s Crossing shared with The Dodo. When the remaining staff learned that these two kittens had been abandoned on such a sweltering day, their hearts ached. They felt particularly saddened by the reality that, despite their continuous advocacy for anyone needing to rehome an animal to reach out to them for assistance, they did not receive any calls regarding these precious girls. “[I]t’s sorrowful that individuals cannot take the necessary measures,” the representative remarked. Nevertheless, these charming sisters were now secure and beloved, receiving all the affection they truly deserved. Following a comprehensive checkup and being spayed, they were prepared to seek a permanent home. “They [had] exceptionally vibrant, social, affectionate personalities. [They] absolutely deserved to discover a family that would cherish them,” shared the representative. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for them to find a family eager to adopt both of them, as they wished to prevent them from separating. The two sisters are now able to unwind in their new abode, surrounded by individuals who completely adore them.
