In this narrative, we will delve into the story of a hairless dog who was profoundly despondent after being deserted by his former guardian.
He Appeared Completely Defeated
When Henry was initially discovered by his wonderful rescuer, Prue Barber, it truly seemed like there was barely any hope left for him.
He appeared utterly defeated, and his well-being was deteriorating rapidly. It also seemed that he hadn’t eaten for a significant period, which was tragic.
Fortunately, a remarkable individual noticed his plight and decided to intervene. The woman saw just how dreadful he looked.
He had lost a significant amount of fur and seemed to have endured prolonged suffering. Barber observed that he had likely had an owner before, which made it more understandable.

It seemed like he was relishing his existence. His personality began to radiate as he embarked on numerous adventures with Barber.
He even bonded with his new canine siblings, getting along splendidly with everyone. His favorite was clearly Sadie, as he delighted in playing with her the most.
However, regarding his future, Barber made it clear that she was determined to be the one to adopt him.
She even remarked: “I’m prohibited from fostering through my own organization because I can’t part with them once they’re in my care.”
