Although it’s not an unusual occurrence, witnessing a homeless dog struggling to endure on the streets is always distressing. Enduring brutal circumstances and lacking food or suitable shelter is the primary cause of why numerous dogs find themselves in dire conditions.

A particular tale emerges from Southern California, where a family of three elderly pups was abandoned on the street by their owners.

They were left with merely a vacant box and a blanket to shield them from the recent storm…

The unfortunate dogs were quaking beneath the blanket when neighbors attempted to assist them. They urgently wanted to catch them and bring them to a shelter, but they declined any form of aid. All three appeared profoundly fearful and kept their distance from everyone.

As days went by, the dogs remained in the same spot, prompting the local community to leave a heap of kibble and a bowl of water nearby for them to consume.

Suzette Hall To The Rescue

One neighbor reached out to Suzette Hall, the creator of Logan’s Legacy based in Irvine, California, who promptly answered and drove to the location.

“There they were, trembling, bundled together on the blanket and box they were left with. Neighbors left food for them. They remained in the same place for days,” Suzette shared on her Instagram.

“They were frightened of human contact.”

The dogs were exceedingly frightened and would not allow anyone to touch them. They would flee and hide, only to return to the street, but they never distanced from each other.

Initially, Suzette set up two humane traps filled with delectable food. After a while, one of the pups entered the trap, but the reaction of the other two astonished Hall thoroughly.

Instead of approaching the food in the second trap, they stayed right by their brother’s side, circling around the trap. Their bond was unmistakable, and they were unfamiliar with life apart from one another, opting to remain close to their trapped sibling.

When Hall understood that enticing them into the trap was ineffective, she decided to place their sibling in a van and leave the door ajar for the other two to enter. The roaming pups dashed straight toward it, and Suzette swiftly shut the door.

“They were uncertain but truly wanted to join their friend. I realized they would eventually leap into my van, so after a little while, they gathered the courage and jumped in. I quickly secured my door. They were safe.”

Awaiting A Forever Home

Hall transported them to Camino Pet Hospital for a health examination, where she discovered that all three had significant dental issues, but with that aside – they were in good health Jacob, Naomi, and Adam.

“It breaks my heart knowing they were cast aside when they needed their family the most. They are incredibly sweet and shower affection on everyone,” according to Suzette.

Currently, the siblings delight in being together, and although they are still awaiting adoption, they are extremely content to be cared for. They constantly lavish everyone with sloppy kisses and love, demonstrating they will make exceptional pets once they find their forever home!

We hope their perfect family is just around the corner!
