It was a bright day in Argentina, similar to numerous others prior. Nothing extraordinary was occurring in the existence of Lujan Videla, but a walk down her street would soon reveal that her life, as well as the life of her boyfriend, would be altered irrevocably.
At a corner close to their residence, the couple noticed a canine they had never encountered before. It was Bruno, entirely alone and confused. They lingered with the dog for a while, anticipating someone would arrive and take him, but no one appeared.
As they waited for an event to occur, Bruno seized the initiative. He started to walk, leading Lujan and her boyfriend toward an apartment complex. It was then they noticed a notice on the front entrance: Keep out the dog.
Upon conversing with a resident of the building, the couple discovered that Bruno had been living, until recently, with an elderly man. It remains unclear what transpired with the man: did he pass away or did he have to relocate abruptly?
Regardless, Bruno found himself alone… adrift, without a home, and heartbroken. Some residents offered him food, yet he became so fixated on gaining entry to the building that the management had to erect a notice to keep him out.
It was evident how desperate and sorrowful Bruno was. Breaking a dog’s spirit is one of the most dreadful acts a person can commit!
Fortunately for Bruno, the narrative has a positive conclusion. Day after day, Bruno transformed into a much more joyful dog than he was at the outset of our tale. You could see happiness radiating from his charming visage.
Although Videla and her boyfriend couldn’t accommodate Bruno due to their numerous rescue dogs at home, Bruno did find his forever family. A neighbor from across the street adopted Bruno and did the most wonderful thing possible: provided this dog a brand new life.
Videla continues to see Bruno during their daily walks. However, she feels saddened that no one from the previous building was willing to adopt him. He’s an amazing pup who appreciates everything he receives. Dogs are living beings. They possess emotions, too! Will some individuals ever understand how to treat an animal properly?
