The shelter volunteers were enamored with her charming disposition and unwavering spirit. They cheered for her complete recovery and hoped she would find the family she had always dreamed of.
Unfortunately, just ten days after her arrival at the shelter, Kiah’s name was added to the euthanasia list.
The lovable dog needed someone to have faith in her and offer assistance during this challenging phase of her life.
On the day marked for her euthanasia, courageous Kiah was prepared to embrace her fate and let go of her aspirations.
The Miracle That Kiah Had Been Anticipating
Just as she was about to surrender hope, a miracle occurred. The kind-hearted individuals at Leashes of Love Rescue, Inc., located in Lake Forest, California, hurried to save her life.
The rescuers extracted her from the shelter at the last possible moment and placed her in a wonderful foster home.
The pup was ecstatic to leave the shelter. She couldn’t stop beaming.
Kiah was put on a specialized diet, and she began to regain weight.
Her foster family enveloped her with affection. The pooch absorbed all the love they showered upon her, feeling immensely thankful.
Sadly, Kiah’s damaged leg could not be salvaged, necessitating an amputation.
