Introducing Cassian – a Boxer-mix who arrived at the Seattle Animal Shelter six weeks earlier with the intention of discovering a caring family.
Initially, he decided to adopt the traditional method: dazzled the humans who strolled by his kennel until one became smitten with him.
This might appear to be a foolproof strategy, given how charming he is, but Cassian discovered that the process was more complicated than he anticipated.
Thus, he opted for a new strategy.
“Cassian is extremely anxious in the shelter and he doesn’t express that very well in his kennel,” mentioned the shelter volunteer in a TikTok video.
As a result of this, Cassian would leap eagerly at the door of his kennel, hoping to greet and catch the attention of any human who walked by.
Consequently, to prevent him from getting hurt, the staff had to drape a blanket over his door.
However, this resulted in many humans just walking past him, unaware that he was also seeking a forever home!
A Glimmer of Hope
One of the individuals volunteering at the shelter conceived the most brilliant idea ever.
She chose to print Cassian’s face on a massive blanket and display it over his kennel so that anyone walking by would immediately be welcomed by his charming face!
Nonetheless, after their TikTok video gained popularity before the blanket could arrive, Cassian had already been noticed by a kind family who chose to foster him.
No need for concern, the blanket is eagerly awaiting to be presented to whoever decides to provide this charming pup with a lasting home.
“Cassian is an exuberant and sociable young lad eager for his next venture. Despite being a small boy, Cassian possesses an immense personality in his compact frame,” the shelter noted on Cassian’s adoption page.
