Pitties are snuggle enthusiasts – they merely require a chance!
Numerous individuals fail to perceive it that way, which is the reason a multitude of these sturdy boys and girls are often disregarded in shelters, thoroughly disheartened by society, and awaiting euthanasia.
Izzie was undoubtedly one of those canines.
After arriving at the shelter as a stray, this forlorn pup lingered for an eternity, hoping to be discovered by the perfect family, yet she was continually overlooked.
Then, one fateful day, the turning point came!
From Streets To A Permanent Home
Rachel, a devoted Pittie enthusiast from California, had just lost her fourth dog and was in search of another to love and embrace. When she received a message from her friend, Julie, a volunteer at Desert Dog Project in Arizona, she couldn’t conceal her excitement.
Julie informed her about Izzie’s predicament (previously referred to as Gredill), and Rachel didn’t hesitate.
“Her shelter name was ‘Gredill’ and she had been kept isolated due to a range of issues from a sinus infection to itchy skin and a severe ear infection,” Rachel shared on Instagram.
