A Canine Family Residing Beside The Freeway
Upon receiving a call about a mother dog and her pups, Hope For Paws mobilized to the location promptly.
It appeared that the adorable family had been dwelling in a nursery near a highway in California. Clearly, this location was not suitable for them, and the rescuers understood they needed to extract them from there.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the mother dog, who seemed quite cautious about this encounter.
Seeing her fear, they set up a humane trap and distanced themselves for a while until she felt secure enough to emerge.
The dog, now referred to as Haleakala, fell for the trap and panicked when she realized she was trapped.
The rescuers proceeded to search for her pups in order to assist them. After a brief search, they located 6 adorable tiny puppies.
They delicately brought all of them back to their mother, which alleviated some of her distress.

After providing them with food, it was time to transport them to a veterinary clinic in California where they would receive essential medical care.
Haleakala was displeased when she observed other individuals holding her puppies, so she expressed her discontent.
Now was not the time for disputes, as it was bath time for everyone. Consequently, they were all cleaned up and finally in a secure environment.
The staff at the clinic also had another responsibility. They needed to give names to all the puppies, and their creativity was notable.
The puppies were named: Luana, Kaiko, Leilani, Kalani, Koa, and Molokai.
