Throughout his entire voyage, Odis exemplified nothing but tenacity and courage. In spite of his disability and a harsh beginning, he never yielded. His determination only intensified with each passing day!
Odis’s Inspiring Voyage
Years ago, this little pup was discovered weeping in a ditch, where he remained for three days and nights. Odis was completely immobile, having endured a severe spinal cord injury due to being struck by a vehicle.
A group of compassionate volunteers from a local dog rescue rescued him, redirecting his life completely.
“Odis was run over by a car as a puppy and left in a ditch crying for three days. They rescued him and fostered him among the volunteers,” Heather shared on Instagram.
Initially, Odis was fostered among various volunteers until he moved to his first foster home. After five years of prospering with different caregivers, Heather entered the scene as the second foster parent!
She felt incredibly thankful for the chance to provide Odis with everything he needed! As a delightful addition, he gained three small-sibling dogs who welcomed him instantly!
Odis is inherently a lovable dog, save for when it’s mealtime. Although he’s quite understanding regarding his private space, he still shows food aggression, likely a result of his traumatic three days in the ditch.
