It’s not every day that an enormous snowstorm blankets your yard in white, yet a Huskie named Malakai is well aware of this fact. This snow-loving pooch transforms into a jubilant canine filled with glee upon witnessing snowflakes descend from the heavens.
Not long ago, Malakai’s outdoor space changed into a frosty paradise overnight, and the dog was excessively jubilant! So joyful that he declined to return indoors.
When his owner, Melissa Renick, called for Malakai to come in because it was chilly, he offered her a bewildered expression. What do you mean, it’s chilly? The weather is splendid.
It seems Melissa briefly forgot that she had a snow dog, equipped with a thick double coat. Snow is his genuine environment. Snow is affection.
The four-year-old Husky was intent on having things his way. However, the challenge was: how to communicate that to his mom?
So, naturally, what he did left us amazed.
When Melissa repeatedly urged Malakai to come inside, he nonchalantly replied “No” and shook his head. What a comedian!
The debate persisted. Melissa was confident she’d persuade him to come in, but Malakai merely turned his head away and asserted “No” once again. This dog truly knows his desires!

Malakai’s little snow protest didn’t catch Melissa off guard, given that he tends to get his way.
“He’s a full-grown dog — he acts as he pleases,” Renick stated on TikTok. “He’s a wonderful boy, though.”
Ultimately, Malakai found himself back indoors. A miracle occurred! But, what he does to pass the time until he can return to the backyard is stare wistfully through the window.
