Occasionally, beneath their resilient surface and formidable size resides a tender spirit that merely seeks affection.
This was precisely the situation with King Tut – a canine who spent nearly 150 days confined in a shelter in Kansas City, Missouri. Ever since his guardians relinquished him, all this menacingly-looking Pittie desired was a companion.
What he was unaware of at that moment was that one day, his existence would undergo a dramatic transformation!
Introducing King Tut
King Tut hasn’t experienced an uncomplicated past. From the instant he was dropped off at KC Pet Project in Kansas City, Missouri, he dealt with intense anxiety and pressure.
All this large lad yearned for was a nurturing home and an area to move about freely, but reality told a different tale. Then, Chris, a seasoned foster caregiver, walked into the shelter one day – and everything shifted!
“He had been there for over 150 days. I fell for him. He had such a wriggly little frame. With him being so anxious in the kennel, I wanted to get him out as soon as I could,” Chris shared with The Dodo.
