There are individuals who should really refrain from having pets, and it becomes apparent. Owning a dog entails various obligations, yet providing adequate care remains paramount.

Upon spotting a puppy that resembled a Pitbull consuming plastic on the pavement, this empathetic woman did not simply walk away; she promptly turned around and took action.
The dog was in dreadful condition, excessively thin, and had tumors scattered across his small frame.
They felt compelled to act.
Remarkable Individuals Saving A Remarkable Pup
“He wasn’t consuming anything, I believe he was just gnawing on plastic and I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye. And I thought, okay, just a moment,” Loui, the woman who initially discovered the dog, recounted to The Dodo.
The black and white Pitbull – eventually dubbed Louie – was in catastrophic shape.
“I’ve never encountered anything like it,” Loui stated.
She swiftly contacted the nearby Bully rescue, who then reached out to the owner via telephone and managed to persuade him to graciously relinquish the unfortunate dog.
“I understood that we had to take action because he wouldn’t endure much longer in his current condition. We transported him to the vet, and the rescue organization took over,” said the woman.
Louie was an extremely despondent pup, and it was evident that he was suffering immensely.
He was approximately eight years old, and was a complete wreck. In his eight years of existence, he had never known love, kindness, or proper care, which was utterly heartbreaking.
Thankfully, Louie was now in capable hands, though the path to recovery was extensive.
“This little boy will require significant assistance so that he can receive all the treatment he needs… He will need blood tests, dental cleaning, skin scraping, eye examinations, tumor excision + sending samples of the tumor to the lab, spaying or neutering, vaccinations, he is limping on both rear legs and requires x-rays, etc.,” the rescue detailed in their Facebook post.
It was also critical for him to be looked after by someone who was nurturing and compassionate, which his new foster parent was.
Louie Is Adopted
The foster mother of Louie took him along wherever she went and lavished him with immense affection.
“One day, she sent me this video of her feeding him with chopsticks, and it was the most adorable thing ever. What an adorable date,” a representative from the rescue mentioned.
Within just a month of being with his foster parent, Louie transformed into a completely different canine. He became so affectionate and adventurous – almost as if he wanted to savor everything he had missed during the past eight years.
His health also significantly improved, and he turned into such a joyful dog with a delightful character.
Despite all he had endured, Louie still relished being around humans.
“He is adorable, sweet, and perfect. He requires a loving home where he can spend his golden years in tranquility and joy,” the rescue stated.
The aspirations of the rescue organization materialized, and in September 2023, Louie found a forever home!
