It’s challenging to even witness this, and it’s even more difficult to see the shattered spirit of an unfortunate dog, as there is no harsher punishment for him than being let down by his owner.
Nevertheless, just as illumination always manages to break through the obscurity, there are often compassionate individuals in suitable places determined to lend assistance.

They Just Departed Without Uttering “Goodbye”
On one occasion, a dark vehicle halted in front of a shelter, and a woman exited the passenger side.
She was clutching a small dog in her grasp, whom she had just tossed onto the street.
The poor little creature was utterly bewildered. Initially, she sprinted after the vehicle, likely believing it was merely another playful game.
However, she soon came to realize it was not a game at all, but rather her new harsh reality in which she was compelled to endure. The moment she grasped this, a piercing whimper resonated as her heart simply began to weep.
Fortunately, the staff of the nearby shelter were sufficiently close to hear her cries and acted promptly. One staff member scooped her up, and she found herself in a secure environment.
It Required a Significant Time for Her to Mend the Heartache
Upon being brought into a cozy room, Kulu, as they named the dog, was so devastated that she wouldn’t even glance at them, irrespective of the affection and care they bestowed upon her.
Among all the scars on her heart, she bore the most profound one. Fortunately, the shelter staff understood her plight, so they refrained from imposing themselves.
Aside from her emotional trauma, this unfortunate girl was also afflicted with various health issues. This might have been one of the primary reasons she was inhumanely discarded onto the street.
Initially, they removed a multitude of ticks from her, and following the primary check-ups at the veterinary clinic, it was established that Kulu suffered from enteritis.
Consequently, she spent a duration in the clinic receiving treatment, where she was pampered and cared for daily. It appeared as though her healed heart began to mend gradually.
She Will Never Experience Abandonment Again
After returning home, it was evident that Kulu was beginning to regain her composure and was starting to display her genuine character, characterized by authentic canine joy and playfulness.
Upon her return to the communal area with the other dogs, it became apparent – Kulu had fully healed. She bounded joyfully, was showered with affection by shelter staff, and continuously played with her furry companions.
The rescuers had no real understanding of Kulu’s nature until that point. Upon finally witnessing her vibrant energy and the joy she exuded, they couldn’t fathom how anyone could so heartlessly discard this wonderful little soul.
One of the shelter staff remarked, “She will never be abandoned again!”
And, indeed, no dog warrants experiencing such an episode in their life, especially not a dog like Kulu.
