Rescue Lyfe shared about the canine on social media and successfully located a wonderful foster for him.
The shelter personnel contacted the rescuers at The Animal Rescue of California, requesting assistance to save Pine’s life.
Recognizing the urgency, the rescue team quickly went to fetch the pup from the shelter.
Fortunately, Pine was saved just in time. Both his shelter friends and supporters let out a sigh of relief.
While the volunteers awaited the completion of Pine’s paperwork, they engaged with the pup, striving to restore his trust in humans.
Despite remaining fearful, Pine began to make strides forward.
Finding Affection In Foster Home
The compassionate volunteers transported the pup to Palm Springs, where he was introduced to Brittany, his foster mom, and Kirk, the founder of the rescue organization.
Even though the pup remained anxious, he permitted Kirk to pet him right upon their first meeting.
Both Brittany and Kirk were confident that the canine would develop into a self-assured and joyful dog.
Pine was thrilled to settle into his foster home. He had a personal space allowing him to unwind fully.
Once the pup adjusted, he met Brittany’s dog, Marvel, and they enjoyed playing together immensely.
Once Pine understood that he wouldn’t be returning to the shelter, he began to feel more at ease.
With the affection from his foster mom and Marvel’s companionship, Pine started to regain his confidence.
