Introducing Harlow, an incredible English Cream Golden Retriever hailing from Los Angeles, California, who continually astonishes her family!
Embracing A New Role
Harlow has been part of her Californian family for several years, and she has consistently remained the most wonderful pet! Upon the family welcoming their first child, a little boy named Carter, Harlow instinctively entered her caretaker mode.
“When Carter joined our family, Harlow assumed the role of a nanny dog. She would literally stay beside him all day,” Denise shared with The Dodo.
She approached her responsibilities with utmost seriousness. It felt as if her primary task now was to look after Carter, ensuring he felt cherished and secure, never allowing him out of her sight.
Something deep within her seemed to tell her: “Hey, this little guy is now your 24/7 duty. Please look after him!”
As time passed, a delightful bond developed between the two. For the initial months, Harlow and Carter reclined beside each other, cherishing the magical moments they spent together. By eight months old, the baby began to engage in games of fetch with his canine companion, and Harlow adored it!
“They may not converse with one another. They don’t share the same language, yet they know how to communicate in an incredibly magical manner,” Denise reflects.
As Carter took his first steps, the real journey commenced!
