“Every time we turned into our neighborhood, about one or two streets away, she would start whining and wagging her tail,” Yates revealed to Newsweek.
Initially, her forever mom assumed that Willow was thrilled due to the sight of another dog in the Johnson City area.
However, Yates soon recognized that the pup was overjoyed to be heading back home.

“I have my speculations, but I genuinely believe she feels this is her home. For a shelter dog who has endured harsh times, having a secure environment significantly impacts their life,” Yates expressed her thoughts when questioned about Willow’s behavior.
