For several months, three adorable puppies called the yard of a car repair garage their abode. While the staff treated them with kindness, the pups yearned for a proper family.

Fortunately, they never faced food shortages, but the yard could not substitute the warmth and love of a nurturing household.

Heartbroken and yearning for companionship, Cora, one of the sisters, would linger by the entrance of the yard, wishing for someone passing by to come and save her and her siblings.

Upon learning about the three furry sisters residing in the garage’s yard, the local rescue group, Howl Of A Dog, took immediate action to assist them.

When they reached the site, the rescuers were met with three forlorn faces eagerly wagging their tails and longing for some much-needed affection

They quickly observed that one of the canines — later named Cora — was limping on her front leg. The rescuers thanked the staff for caring for the dogs and quickly transported them to the veterinary clinic.

“Fortunately, there was no fracture, and her injury healed after a few days of treatment,” the rescue organization shared in the video uploaded to YouTube.

Nonetheless, their veterinary examination uncovered a more severe concern – all three puppies were unvaccinated and had contracted parvovirus. Without proper treatment, this virus can be lethal for dogs.

Cora and her two companions – Kami and Carly – required hospitalization and medical attention. Luckily, the virus was detected in its early stages, but still, it can be extremely aggressive and escalate quickly.

Among the three sisters, Kami needed a longer period for recovery; however, thankfully, in the end, all of them achieved a full recovery.

After the sisters fully healed and received their vaccinations, their personalities began to flourish.

At approximately six months old, they remained quite young but incredibly lively and loving towards everyone.

While the rescuers cherished them and recognized how exceptional they would be for nearly any family, regrettably, finding permanent homes for the sisters turned out to be a daunting challenge.

Cora, Carly, and Kami remained at the rescue for over a year searching for a loving family.

Eventually, fortune smiled on Carly, and after a year at the shelter, she was finally adopted into a wonderful family.

Currently, she is enjoying the life she had always dreamed of.

What saddens my heart is knowing that her sisters, Cora and Kami, are still waiting for a home. They have been at the shelter for nearly two years, hoping for the happiest day of their lives.

According to the shelter, Cora “has a very friendly nature, interacts well with all dogs, and is great with people and children. She truly is a perfect addition to any loving family,” while Kami “interacts well with all dogs, is affectionate and sociable, but a bit more shy than her sisters.”

Both dogs genuinely deserve a place to call their home, particularly after everything they have endured.
