Anxiety is the eruption of unfavorable feelings, which can affect any of us occasionally. Sadly, dogs are not exempt.
A canine named Joule understands how distressing it can be. A few years back, Joule was saved by Brenna Eckert.
Brenna shared with The Dodo that Joule was experiencing significant anxiety at the time of her adoption, requiring individual attention from a canine behavior expert to address some of her critical challenges.
“She is certainly a Velcro dog” Brenna remarked, indicating that she is profoundly attached to her owner and consistently experiences separation anxiety when her human parent is out.
This only complicates matters, as Brenna must leave for work every weekday, leaving her beloved pup behind.
Nonetheless, she could not fathom that the resolution to Joule’s dilemma was merely a step away, right before her eyes.

Knowing Joule became anxious whenever she exited the home, Brenna felt compelled to understand the situation better. Thus, she opted to install security cameras in the house to observe what her cherished companion was up to while she was at work.
“I wanted to see how long it took for her to settle down” Brenna detailed to Daily Star recently.
She was utterly taken aback when she returned home and reviewed the footage. “I spotted Joule on the couch just before Kelvin showed up unexpectedly” she recounted.
Kelvin was her small feline with a particularly calm and affectionate nature. She remarked that they had never been very close when she was present, yet in the footage, they were curled up against one another the entire day. What a delightful revelation!
