Whenever we witness a dog confined, chained, or encased in a plastic bag, we can’t help but ponder: why do such heartless individuals exist?
Denying a dog’s freedom is extremely inhumane, not to mention the other horrific actions those wicked individuals commit. Taking it out on a being who doesn’t even belong to your species? Shame on you!
And shame on whoever perpetrated this!
This tale originates from Illinois. A dog was discovered near the shore of Kaufman Lake, confined, soaked, and frightened. If not for angler Bryant Fritz, the dog would have perished. Fritz leaped into the water without a moment’s hesitation. He rescued the dog, brought it to his truck, and hurried to the University of Illinois Veterinary Hospital.
“She is doing splendidly! The team has been diligently caring for her today. She received a bath, and her injuries are being addressed. She is a darling and has been showered with plenty of affection and care. We appreciate everyone who has reached out and offered assistance.” remarked Dr. Jenica Harashak, an emergency and critical care expert.
The dog is currently doing well, and once Champaign County Animal Control assumes responsibility, Fritz states that he intends to adopt her. His cherished canine companion passed away recently, and he believes this rescued dog could take its place.
Given the trials they endured together, they are becoming inseparable friends and simply destined to be.
