Eva valiantly jumped at the mountain lion even though the wild animal was double her size. The two wrestled as Erin rushed to grab a tire iron to assist Eva. She began hitting the predator with it, but it seemed like an endless struggle.

The cat sank its teeth into Eva’s head and penetrated her skull with its long, sharp fangs. Fortunately, a few motorists passing by came to the rescue, dispersing pepper spray to drive off the lion.
