After a painful 202 days apart, professional soccer athlete, Mackenzie George, and her cherished dog, Rocky, finally come together in what can only be termed as their most joyous moment ever.
Never Been Happier
Mackenzie George, an ex-soccer player from Tennessee, spent the previous six months playing abroad, regrettably without her furry companion – a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix named Rocky.
Owing to some administrative complications, Rocky could not accompany Mackenzie when she accepted her new soccer contract, necessitating him to remain with her family back in Lincoln, California.
Upon 202 days, Mackenzie eventually returned home and reunited with her beloved dog, Rocky.
The duo was overjoyed to once again be in each other’s company. Rocky was an ecstatic doggo, exhibiting it abundantly – leaping, bouncing in the air, squealing, tail wagging, and showering plenty of kisses.
“It’s finally finished, and I’ve never felt this happy ❤️ kenzandrocky are back for good,” Mackenzie shared on TikTok.

A Famous Athlete Dog Duo
Mackenzie adopted Rocky the summer following her freshman year, upon transferring across the country to Tennessee.
That year presented numerous challenges for her, but fortunately, she had this little pup as her loyal companion.
“If I hadn’t had Rocky, I would have just been glued to my bed. I didn’t have a lot of friends at the time. I wasn’t really able to drive anywhere, and he got me out and about… He has helped me create this whole home-like atmosphere in Tennessee, and it’s been incredible,” Mackenzie explained to Knox News.
She has frequently stated that Rocky is the most devoted dog she has ever known. He follows her everywhere – soccer training, intense workouts, 2-mile runs to the fields, etc.

They are truly inseparable.
Several years back, Mackenzie began posting videos with Rocky on TikTok, receiving immense love from viewers.
“I’ve always known Rocky to be something special. He behaves in ways that dogs usually do not, so at last, people get to witness him, and I think it’s extremely enjoyable,” she articulated.
Whenever Rocky is by her side, everything seems a little bit simpler. Hopefully, they will never endure such a long separation again.
