Binky possessed a microchip, and his family kept wishing that someone would discover him and reach out to them. They postponed their move for as long as possible, but inevitably, they had to relocate.
Three years went by, and the family lost all optimism of ever embracing their dear Binky again.

Binky’s Unexpected Return
A compassionate individual discovered the dog in a dreadful condition. He was wandering the streets in Summerville, South Carolina. They immediately contacted Dorchester Paws and requested their assistance.
“His fur was so tangled everywhere, particularly around his eyes. It was difficult to ascertain if he even had eyes. His nails were so overgrown that they curled, he emitted an awful odor and his teeth were decaying,” April Howard, the director of Dorchester Paws, explained to The Dodo.
The staff promptly transported him to the veterinary clinic.
The medical team trimmed his knotted fur, and the pup felt relieved as he was finally able to open his beautiful eyes.
The veterinarian began administering medication to alleviate his discomfort. The sweet dog was courageous and reassured his caregivers that he was doing alright. He was extraordinarily amiable towards them and he warmed their hearts with his gentle demeanor.
Once the pooch completed his grooming, the veterinarians scanned him for a microchip. They were elated to discover that the pup had owners.
They swiftly contacted the dog’s family to share the joyful news.
The Dog’s Family Receives the Astonishing News
Upon receiving the news that their boy had been located, Binky’s family could scarcely believe it. They were in shock.
“The family was in utter amazement. They exclaimed, ‘Are you certain it’s Mr. B.?!’” Binky was already a senior when they brought him into their lives, so they never envisioned seeing him again,” Howard mentioned.
Everyone was astounded that delicate Binky managed to survive for such an extended period as a stray.
Yet, the most astonishing aspect of Binky’s return was that he was discovered far from his home in Georgia.
The Long-Awaited Reunion

Even though the family resided six hours away from the shelter, the staff quickly placed him in the vehicle and drove him home.
