Upon receiving a call about a puppy deserted at a truck stop, Hope For Paws, a 501 non-profit animal rescue organization located in Los Angeles, California, promptly abandoned their activities to rush to the scene.
However, upon their arrival, they could not find the canine anywhere.
To simplify matters for both themselves and the puppy, they resolved to establish a trap and wait for the dog to show up.
After several hours of waiting, they observed an individual approaching their trap.
Rescue Mission
It was the puppy they came to save!
He was wandering around the area, sniffing the delicious food they had set as bait, and since he was likely very hungry, he consumed it.
When the trap door shut, the dog was quite startled. Fortunately, a rescuer named Katie McKittrick was closely monitoring the scenario and managed to soothe the puppy by speaking to him in a gentle and reassuring tone.
The puppy, who was subsequently named Bobbi, was extremely nervous. He was uncertain about what was happening or what awaited him. Thankfully, Katie took a moment to reassure him that his life was only going to improve from that point forward.
Katie transported Bobbi to the Los Angeles rescue where he was warmly welcomed with plenty of pets and hugs.
Initially, he kept staring at the wall, still confused about his situation. Fortunately, he quickly realized that there was nothing to be afraid of.
Bobbi was given a delightful bath so that he could truly showcase how charming he was.
As soon as L.A. Animal Rescue learned about him, they offered to take him in as a foster and show him just how wonderful life can be.
He is currently enjoying the best life possible with his foster family as he spends his days frolicking and having fun.
No longer does he have to concern himself with survival as he has amazing humans around him who fulfill all his needs.
