German Shepherds are not canines suited for everyone.
They are resilient. They are powerful. Moreover, they can be perilous in inappropriate hands.
I mean, are you not aware of their significant prey drive?
These canines will pursue anything they desire without even breaking a sweat.
Naturally, they are not suited for young children and small animals. Otherwise, someone might sustain an injury.
Well, you can take all these assertions with a pinch of salt.
Certainly, German Shepherds possess formidable capabilities, yet even formidable beings can exhibit a gentle nature.
On several occasions, we’ve witnessed German Shepherds befriending other creatures, including the smallest ones.
And they were the most affectionate companions!
From adorable ducklings to tiny kittens and baby hamsters, German Shepherds can form bonds with virtually all creatures, including – diminutive quail chicks!
Henlo, Smol Fluffy Frens
A stunning black beauty, a GSD female named Charon, was overjoyed to see what her owner had brought for her in that bucket. A girl loves a delightful surprise, and Charon was thoroughly astonished!
She anticipated various items but not anything as adorable as…
…small baby quail chicks!
Henlo, smol fluffers!
Charon was incredibly sweet while meeting the tiniest chicks imaginable. As a large dog, she understood precisely how to interact with quail babies that weigh merely a few grams: with the utmost gentleness!
Charon’s nurturing instincts emerged as she carefully sniffed the baby chicks, ensuring she didn’t unintentionally harm or frighten them. She was a complete darling and a fantastic representation of how large dogs should manage small creatures.
She lay there patiently while the baby quails roamed the room and approached her at their leisure. Charon appeared incredibly pleased to encounter such unique little companions.
Deciding it was necessary to offer the baby quails some space, Charon stood up, carefully navigated around them, and exited the room. She was exceptionally careful not to step on one of the babies, as if she instinctively understood that would lead to a calamity.
Don’t you wish all dogs exhibited such kindness as Charon does toward her smol frens?
Observe how one remarkable, atypical friendship was formed!
