Dogs cannot experience joy if they lack guardians who will embrace them warmly and demonstrate the depth of their affection.
Regrettably, some dog guardians disregard their pets and place their beloved lives at risk without a shred of compassion.
Biscuit, Jam, and Jelly, the trio of puppy siblings, were merely a week old when they were abandoned outside in frigid weather. Shaking from the cold, the tiny infants cuddled closely together on the icy, filthy ground, attempting to stay warm.
Kind Humans Assist The Abandoned Pups
A resident of Texas noticed the tiny, fluffy fur babies braving the icy temperatures in a family yard. Deeply concerned for the pups, they reached out to the San Antonio Animal Care Services.
After responding to the call, the staff was devastated. They jumped into their vehicle and rushed to the location.
Upon arriving at the site, the team discovered the puppies nestled against each other, trying hard to maintain warmth.
“Several animals … were left outside in the recent freezing temperatures and were found in distress,” the shelter stated in a Facebook post.
The rescuers felt sorrowful upon discovering the puppies’ parents, later named Butters and Honey, who were quaking from the cold. Both felt helpless as they were unable to assist their little ones.
The team brought the canine family along with the other forsaken pets into their vehicle.
Pups Obtain The Essential Care
The rescuers hurried all the forsaken animals to the veterinary emergency clinic. The veterinarians conducted examinations and provided the necessary care.
The three fur babies, later named Biscuit, Jam, and Jelly, were discovered to be in critical condition.
The committed personnel at the San Antonio shelter provided them with continuous care and ample affection. The tenacious siblings started to flourish, and they were soon medically approved.
The concerned parents, Butters and Honey, felt relieved to see that their entire family was safe and secure.
No one could resist the charming canine family that immediately won the affection of the shelter staff. They relished cuddling with them and showering them with caring attention.
“True to her name, Honey is exceedingly sweet, and she is incredibly kind as well. She adores treats … and her puppies are simply the most adorable,” the shelter noted on their website.
Foster Families Extend Their Hearts
As the shelter staff sought additional space to house other animals requiring assistance, they concentrated on locating a cozy home for the wonderful family.
Butters was the first family member to secure a foster home. Although Honey and the puppies spent more time waiting for their temporary residence, they eventually found an excellent foster family.
Honey felt joyful and relaxed as she could nurture her young ones in a loving environment. Biscuit, Jam, and Jelly are having the time of their lives in a foster home.
We wish that Butters and Honey, along with their puppies, will get their fairy tale endings. They deserve to have forever families who will love and pamper them endlessly.
