“Heartbroken Dog Seeks New Home to Honor Lost Friends from Hoarding Rescue”

Written By Ash

Existing on the street as an innocent creature is challenging. However, at times it is even more difficult for an animal to be confined within a cramped space without adequate room, suitable care, or even affection.

Sadly, the pup in today’s narrative, Shyla, was raised in such an environment.

Prior to her rescue, Shyla resided in a backyard breeding and hoarding scenario along with a number of other dogs. After being moved to an overcrowded shelter in Houston, tragically, only Shyla survived.

But her trials didn’t end there. Due to the crowding, Shyla was slated to be euthanized. However, at the very last moment, a remarkable person intervened to assist her.

Upon hearing about her distressing history and her dreadful fate, an advocate for dogs made the decision to take Shyla in as a foster pet.

“She was rescued because a foster managed to get her five minutes after the deadline,” Chelsea Domaleski, a shelter volunteer, informed The Dodo.

Unfortunately, due to unexpected events, Shyla’s foster had to return her after only a month of care. Domaleski and her partner placed her in a boarding facility and are managing the expenses, but they won’t be able to sustain it for much longer.

What Shyla requires now is a nurturing family prepared to welcome her and provide her with the life she envisions.

Searching For A Home

Despite her troubling experiences, Shyla remains a charming puppy filled with love in her heart and joy in her tail.

“She adores people and is incredibly cuddly and sociable. She’s been cohabitating with various other dogs at the boarder’s residence and has been getting along splendidly with all of them. She enjoys taking walks and lounging in the sun with her canine companions,” Domaleski stated.

Just because Shyla wasn’t fortunate enough to be born into a caring family doesn’t imply she can’t experience it now! She is an incredibly affectionate pup who would be an exemplary companion to anyone willing to adopt her.

“She was overlooked and let down by humans her entire life and is now ready for someone to truly love and care for her the way she truly deserves,” Domaleski added.

Shyla is currently recuperating from heartworm and aspires that another foster family might offer her assistance while she recovers. Once she heals, she can start searching for her forever family.

Since she would likely be euthanized if returned to the shelter, that option is not acceptable!

If you or anyone you know can take Shyla in as a foster and provide her with the time she needs until she locates her dream family, please visit her Instagram for more details. If unable to foster, consider contributing to her GoFundMe.
