An Exceptionally Malnourished Dog
When Violet was initially rescued by her guardians from I Stand With My Pack, based in California, she was utterly terrified and hardly interacted with anyone.
She was alarmingly malnourished, and a visit to the veterinarian indicated that she was critically underweight, weighing approximately 19.4 pounds when her appropriate weight should have been at least 40 pounds.

They ensured she was quickly placed in a foster home in California, and Whitney Cummings took the lead in caring for her.
