The Harmse family welcomed him as a tiny puppy, and since that moment, he has been an integral part of the family and every significant event.
He assisted his dad in proposing to his mom, and subsequently helped them walk down the aisle on the most memorable day of their lives.
Argento has consistently been a highly protective dog, embodying the essence of a true Shepherd, but his genuine protective instincts truly emerged when a tiny heartbeat began to resonate within mommy’s belly.
From that point forward, Argento was bestowed with a crucial responsibility – safeguarding the baby.
Anticipating A Little One
Even prior to the arrival of his baby human, Argento began rehearsing for his role as a protective furry sibling.
He tuned in to his heartbeat to ensure all was well.
He discovered how to be gentle.
He assisted his dad in assembling new furniture for the baby.
And he even started picking up how to narrate bedtime stories to ease the baby into slumber.
There were countless tasks to accomplish before the little one arrived, but Argento was prepared.
Welcoming The New Family Member
At last, following nine lengthy months and all the preparations, baby brother, Greer, entered the world. It was love at first sniff.
To be honest, the baby sometimes didn’t emit the most pleasant scent, yet Argento adored him wholeheartedly.
He lavished kisses upon the baby and ensured he was safeguarded at all times.
If the baby was napping, without a doubt, Argento was right there by his side.
He observed that the baby relished sleeping a great deal, so he joined him for naps. Since the baby was too young to engage in play, Argento resolved to patiently wait for him to mature.
He witnessed the baby’s development as he learned to sit, stand, and ultimately walk.
Yet still, the baby wouldn’t engage with his ball.
Meanwhile, Argento had plenty of playtime with his dad and mom. He remained their first pup, and they would never overlook him.
As the baby developed, their bond grew even more robust. They experienced everything together, and their affection for one another was profound.
… And Then Arrived Another Surprise
It didn’t take long before another addition to the family occurred.
At this stage, Argento was already seasoned as a big brother and had a little human to entertain while awaiting the arrival of the new family member.
