When Steven Lee Jr. alongside his companions visited SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, to witness the performance of the band Metallica, they spotted a rather intriguing-looking fan within the audience.
Noticing some sharp ears and a furry body, Steven quickly came to the realization that a dog had entered the concert venue.
Musical Canine
Initially, Steven presumed that the dog had accompanied its owner to the concert, but upon closer inspection, he realized that she was there entirely on her own.
“The dog appeared very relaxed and [was] having a blast. As we approached the stadium, the dog was right there alongside us,” stated Steven
Even though the dog was no longer in Steven’s line of sight, it was later verified that the pup successfully found her own spot amidst the audience.
Subsequently, a photo of the dog surfaced, depicting her gazing at the stage where the band was playing, seemingly relishing every moment of the performance.
When the concert staff noticed this dog all by herself, they initially feared she had been heartlessly left behind by her owners.
They gently guided her towards the exit of the stadium, bringing her to the nearby Inglewood animal shelter.
Unraveling The Enigma
It was later revealed and confirmed on Metallica’s official Facebook page that the delightful pup had indeed snuck away from her home and made her way to the concert all by herself.
“You may have heard about our four-legged fan joining us for #M72LA! Contrary to earlier reports, our pal Storm snuck out of her house close to SoFi Stadium and made her way to the gig unassisted,” the post stated.
Ultimately, it was discovered that the dog, named Storm, actually resides very near the stadium, making it easy for her to wander over there, curious to see what was taking place.
No need to fret! After spending a night at the shelter, Storm was safely reunited with her home and caring owners.
Upon learning the full extent of the amusing tale he had witnessed during the concert night, Steven felt both entertained and relieved.
I found it surprising that she escaped [from home] but thought it was amusing that [she] wandered into the stadium. I joked that she wanted to see Metallica, and that she was eager to hear [the Metallica song] ‘Wherever I May Roam.’
