Disney’s 101 Dalmatians became a reality for a Dalmatian breeder when her canine welcomed an incredible quantity of puppies simultaneously.
This number of puppies is nearly every breeder’s dream, particularly if they are all born healthy and safe.
Nonetheless, managing so many puppies poses its own difficulties, especially for the canine mother who must care for them all.
One Puppy, Two Puppies, Three Puppies, Four
Cecilia Langton Bunkergot has been engaged in dog breeding for nearly three decades. She has nurtured numerous healthy puppies and always aimed to provide the finest Dalmatian puppies to her customers.
However, her enterprise was never solely for financial gain, as she has always cherished this breed profoundly.
The majority of the canines from CC Dalmatians (her breeding operation) transformed into champions and show dogs, which is why she meticulously selected a first-time mother, Miley, owned by Jade Martin, and paired her with Astro Wonder Boy.
Cecilia and Jade closely monitored Miley throughout her gestation, including regular veterinary visits, during which they were informed that Miley was anticipating three puppies.
Both breeders were elated with the update and were quite stunned during Miley’s delivery when the puppies began arriving.
The vets counted the puppies in astonishment until there were 18 miniature Dalmatians in the room.
As Cecilia shared with 9News:
“We reached 16 and presumed she was finished after 13 and a half hours of labor […] It was truly remarkable that she birthed another two, setting both a world record and an Australian record. I was astonished to witness so many.”

All Jade Martin desired was a new puppy for her daughter, Lulu, but she never expected the pup to have 18 siblings.
Once Lulu selected her puppy, Cecilia housed the others in her breeding kennel.
Each of the dogs was checked by the vet and found to be in excellent condition. Although it was an extraordinary experience, both owners humorously remarked that they wouldn’t repeat that to Miley, despite her being an outstanding mother to them.

Cecilia enjoyed wonderful moments with them, but the joy eventually ended, as all of the puppies found new homes, yet they will always be remembered as the renowned 18 pups.
