For those residing in a large, bustling metropolis, it’s evident that the moment you exit, you are confronted with countless vehicles. And let’s face it, the majority of them, if not identical, appear strikingly similar.
I’m not sure about you, but I certainly attempted to enter another car, mistakenly assuming it was mine.
Fortunately, those vehicles were secure, but the individual in today’s tale didn’t share that fortune.
That’s Not Your Vehicle, Vincent
After treating himself to a delicious pizza, Vincent Zepeda made his way to the parking garage where he had left his vehicle to return home.
He walked up to his car, pushed the door open, and drove away.
However, while making his way home, Zepeda detected some peculiar sounds coming from the back seat.
Looking back to probe, his gaze landed on the most charming puppy ever, patiently seated in his designated spot, trying to comprehend the situation.
Zepeda instantly realized that this was not his vehicle!
He quickly spun around and returned to the parking garage to swap this vehicle for his own.
“This is why you should never leave your key fob in your vehicle. I entered with my pizza … and I got the s— scared out of me by this dog. That’s not my dog or my vehicle,” Zepeda stated in a clip.
Once he arrived back at the parking garage, he spotted his car parked right beside the vehicle he had mistakenly taken for his own.
After securely parking the car, an astonished Zepeda entered his own vehicle and departed.
Introducing The Pup
Zepeda made the decision to share his video online, hoping that others would view it and remember not to leave their keys inside their vehicles.
Not long after, his video went viral, even reaching Cynthie, the owner of the vehicle that Zepeda assumed was his.
Cynthie reached out to Zepeda, wishing to formally introduce him to her puppy, Fletcher.
“A friend contacted me to inform that she knows who the other vehicle belongs to,” Zepeda mentioned in a subsequent video.
Fletcher welcomed his new companion in the most delightful manner a puppy can – by wagging his tail.
After spending some quality time with the lovely puppy, Zepeda realized that entering a stranger’s vehicle and driving away wasn’t as concerning as it appears.
“He just wanted your pizza,” Cynthie teased.
