The spring/summer 2023 wedding period is nearly over, yet listen here. I’m aware of a few trends that will be prominent in the next season.
This might catch you off guard, but wedding bouquets are extremely antiquated!
There’s actually a trendy and much more adorable alternative, which will yield numerous compliments, in contrast to flowers.
Allow me to introduce…
Puppies as wedding “bouquets”!
I’m serious; this isn’t a jest; puppies are the upcoming it item.
This trend is beginning to flourish, thanks to a couple from Connecticut who chose to abandon the conventional wedding theme for something far more extraordinary but equally delightful.
Puppies As Unique Wedding Guests
Upon learning that a litter of puppies required fostering nearby in Northwest, Connecticut, John and Becky felt compelled to seize the opportunity.
How challenging could it be?
The unfortunate pups were abandoned by their biological mother, a rescue pound canine previously exploited as a bait dog. We all recognize the trauma experienced by these dogs.
Thus, the prior owner, Chelsea, acted responsibly, as she was unable to care for the entire litter alone, and contacted the local animal shelter.
At The Little Guild, the puppies received a warm welcome and were promptly made available for fostering.
Initially, John and Becky began fostering two pups, Penny and Patch. However, it soon became evident that the rest of the litter would be joining their siblings shortly.
And that’s precisely what transpired.
Roley, Lucky, and Freckles, the remaining trio of siblings, came on board for the excitement and moved in with John and Becky.
It goes without saying that caring for five tiny pups needing constant feeding was absolute mayhem.
Chaos and puppies are inseparable, and it’s a usual aspect of maturing.
Around the time the puppies started to transition to solids and were more stable on their feet, John and Becky’s wedding date was established.
Noticing the level of time, patience, and effort necessary to nurture puppies, John and Becky devised a method to advocate for adoption and fostering.
What could be a better way than to involve the little ones in their wedding photo shoot? Rather than floral arrangements, the bride and her attendants carried the puppies from the litter.
The final outcome was an array of astonishingly heartwarming images that you’d be hard-pressed not to smile at.
First, Becky and John posed for a few lovely keepsakes.
Don’t they appear stunning? Even the puppies donned matching black and white outfits for this elegant black-tie occasion!
Next, Becky posed with her bridesmaids, and the level of beauty captured in this image is mind-boggling!
It goes without saying that the girls were completely enchanted by how adorable the puppies appeared.
Then, the gentlemen joined in on the festivities.
They were simply too adorable to resist!
Lastly, they captured some group shots sharing affectionate doggy kisses and immense joy.
The significant day concluded in the most remarkable fashion.
Soon after the wedding, it was time for the puppies to meet their forever families.
John and Becky were thrilled to see the puppies embark on their own journeys. They felt even more grateful that each puppy from the litter found a caring human to look after them.
