Mom Will Do Whatever He Selects
Ollie has consistently embodied an adventurous Lab spirit, and he enjoys discovering new things, which inspired Alex, Ollie’s owner, with an ingenious idea!
She crafted a special activity jar just for her Lab, filled with Ollie’s favorite pastimes, and every Saturday – she permits him to select one himself.
“I struggle with decision-making. I believed it would be a thrilling way to have Ollie choose for me,” says Alex.
Before long, Ollie became infatuated with the entire concept of the activity jar, and he simply can’t get enough of it!
This fantastic duo engages in a multitude of delightful activities together, such as excursions, playdates, beach outings, costume celebrations, and visiting a pet shop to select new toys and treats using Ollie’s very own allowance.
Each week, Ollie has the opportunity to select a favorite activity to engage in – and his mom is more than willing to accommodate.
In fact, once an activity is chosen from the jar – there’s no turning back, even if it requires heading to the beach in the depths of winter!
With Ollie choosing his preferred pastimes, he and Alex enjoy the time of their lives together!
Alex, Ollie, And Tato – The Perfect Trio
Recently, Alex made the decision to welcome another Lab into her fantastic family – a baby boy named Tato! Interestingly, she allowed Ollie to select his name from the activity jar! She included an array of trendy names for the puppy and Ollie ended up choosing the name, “Tato!”
“I thought it would be truly entertaining to let Ollie choose the puppy’s name from his activity jar,” says Alex.
With Tato now part of the family, this little unit has never experienced more joy! Ollie formed a bond with his new baby brother almost instantly, and now the three get to enjoy all the exciting activities from the activity jar together!
“The activity jar has allowed me to connect with the boys and spend as much time as I can with them. Even if my week hasn’t gone well and I’ve been extremely busy, I know that on the weekend, I will always have that time reserved solely for me, Ollie, and Tato,” remarks Alex.
One thing is definite – the trio will undoubtedly uphold their little tradition for as long as they can!
