Whilst Lauren Botticelli, a canine rescuer, was traveling with her team, she spotted a small furry being on the edge of a bustling roadway. Upon closer inspection, she realized it was a black puppy.
Her heart dropped when she observed that the little pup was on the verge of crossing the street. The rushing vehicles and large trucks zoomed by, yet the playful puppy appeared oblivious to the peril.
Rescuing The Puppy’s Life
Fortunately, the rescuers arrived just in time to safeguard his life.
“… Our whole van spotted him nearly simultaneously … We exchanged glances and understood. I was driving and promptly pulled over,” Botticelli shared with The Dodo.
They hurried to assist him. When the puppy noticed the rescuers sprinting towards him, he became scared and ran up the driveway.
The entire team breathed a sigh of relief. If they hadn’t stepped in, the pup might have been struck by a vehicle.
As the rescuers neared the puppy, he was thrilled to see them. It appeared he recognized that they were there to save him. When Botticelli began speaking to him, he leaped into her embrace.
The adorable puppy had a rope around his neck. His rescuers speculated that he had gnawed the rope to liberate himself.
The pup kept kissing his rescuers’ faces and showering them with affection.
Botticelli’s team did everything within their power to determine if the puppy had an owner. Since they were unable to locate one, they took the puppy along with them.
The puppy, later named Binx, instantly bonded with the entire group.
Lovely Life In Foster Home
The Animal Pad, a multi-breed dog rescue situated in San Diego, California, took him into their care and started searching for a foster who would take him in.
“He has been the most wonderful little puppy ever since. It’s almost as if he knew he had been saved and felt grateful,” Botticelli mentioned.
It was not long before the charming puppy was excited to settle into his foster home in Los Angeles. His foster mother lavished him with love.
Binx had a fantastic time. He felt secure and cherished. The delightful puppy brimmed with energy and enjoyed playing.
His foster mother praised the delightful pup for being exceptionally intelligent. He swiftly grasped new commands.
Binx adores people and easily forms friendships. Everyone who encountered him fell for his lovely nature.
Although it has not been confirmed that the sweet pup was adopted, we are quite certain that a puppy as charming as Binx discovered his happily-ever-after.
