When Jojo first discovered Rip’s tale, she remarked on how adorable he appeared and how greatly she desired to adopt him.
She attempted to persuade her boyfriend to adopt him, but he was quite averse due to his breed. It took a while for her to sway him, but they ultimately agreed to visit the shelter in California.
Jojo told GeoBeats Animals: “Rip was still there after 4 months and I was so thrilled and we just showed up and he was leaping about like five feet off the ground with all 4 feet.”
He was so delighted to greet new guests. It was in that moment they recognized that Rip was meant to be part of their family.
Rip’s New Journey
After spending some time with them in his new residence, Jojo realized how amusing and sociable he was.
She stated: “His character is just quirky and funny. He does whatever he can to grab your attention and elicit laughter.”
They would take him on incredible road trips where he truly got to relish being a dog. He adored exploring, unwinding, and frolicking with his cherished companions.
It was simply phenomenal. Shortly thereafter, the couple successfully located Rip’s sibling, who was in a different shelter, and they decided to take him in as well.
They were intrigued about how both of these dogs ended up in their respective predicaments, but they sought to uncover how they became separated.
Regardless, the two siblings became inseparable, embarking on countless fantastic adventures together.
When discussing who Rip adores more, it is evidently her boyfriend, Danny. Whenever the two feel like playing, he will get down on the floor and wait for the dog, so they can have a wrestling match.
Because Danny grew to love his new pets so deeply, they both resolved that they would focus on rescuing bullys moving forward.
