A rescue dog has just one aspiration, which is to discover a caring home and an individual who will adore him eternally.
For Snoopy – a wide-eyed Staffordshire Terrier – this aspiration has been in progress for quite some time.
This lovely senior dog has lingered for over 650 days at Benton-Franklin Humane Society, in Kennewick, Washington, envisioning every single day of a permanent home.
However, despite his deep desire to be adopted, unfortunately, it simply wasn’t occurring… until a dedicated volunteer at the shelter chose to share online about this charming boy whom everyone cherished.
Hoping For A Permanent Home
Snoopy is a senior dog with special needs who suffers from Cushing’s disease, and he frequently gets ignored because of it.
He has spent 650+ days at the shelter, longing for his human companion, but regrettably, that never materialized.
The effects of Cushing’s disease have resulted in complications with his hearing, vision, and weight, requiring him to adhere to a special diet and medication regimen. All of this has contributed to his being overlooked by potential adopters.
All the volunteers at the shelter have fallen head over heels for this gentle boy and his lovable personality. Julie Saraceno, a dedicated shelter volunteer, recently shared on her social media about Snoopy and his endearing behavior.
The video gained traction quickly, and Snoopy finally received the recognition he rightfully deserved.
Living behind closed bars is challenging, so to comfort himself, little Snoopy has a habit of sucking on his blanket.
