Resilient Puppies Wait for Their Owner After Week on Train Tracks

Written By Ash

Upon hearing about two pups recklessly abandoned near train tracks, Suzette Hall, the creator of Logan’s Legacy, understood there was no time to lose.

Sadly, the unfortunate news didn’t end there.

Upon her arrival at the scene, Suzette carefully approached the pups and what she discovered shattered her heart.

She discovered that the dogs were Poodle-mixes who were evidently bred by their prior owner, who was heartless enough to abandon them.

Another upsetting realization was that, having remained in the same area for an entire week, the pups still held onto the hope that their last owner would return.

They would simply sit there. [Abandoned dogs] always believe the person who discarded them will come back. Their loyalty is incredible.

Although Suzette made every effort to assist, this rescue operation proved to be quite challenging. Moreover, the fact that they were located in an industrial zone certainly didn’t help matters.

They kept retreating under the buses and darting along the train tracks.

Nevertheless, Suzette was not one to easily give in.

She devised a strategy, accompanied by a reliable group of helpers, to remain and wait for hours until they successfully ensnared the distressed pups.

And, they succeeded!

Fresh Start

After Suzette discovered the two pups together, later naming them Major and Divine, she instinctively felt they had a strong bond.

However, when the pups were taken to the vet, it soon became evident to everyone present that this was not entirely true.

They wanted absolutely nothing to do with one another.

Suzette clarified that typically, dogs will form attachments with each other for survival, and once the threat is removed, they actually prefer not to associate with one another.

Usually, it’s because they’re related. So it’s like genuine brothers and sisters.

Ultimately, the fact that they no longer enjoyed each other’s company was inconsequential.

Once the pups completely recovered, they were welcomed into two distinct families.

Following the tumultuous existence these two pups endured, they completely moved on as they discovered what it truly felt like to be loved.

Even though they were separated, their lives remained quite alike.

Both pups welcomed a little canine sibling, and they retained the names they were assigned at the shelter.

Most importantly, both puppies thrived in the caring and affectionate atmosphere they found themselves in.

They both received the most wonderful homes imaginable.
