No one truly enjoys a voyeur.
However, I wouldn’t mind a pair of snoopers you’re about to discover today.
They possess round, expressive eyes, a delightful button nose, and a pass to observe the neighborhood through specially crafted peepholes.
It’s the small joys that brighten my day and make me wish I resided in such a community.
Allow me to introduce Seymour and Billie – a duo of inquisitive canines that dedicate most of their hours overseeing the happenings beyond their fence.
Nothing escapes their vigilant gaze.
The Mickey Mouse-Inspired Peepholes
On the day Erin returned home, she didn’t anticipate discovering that someone had etched Mickey Mouse-shaped peepholes in her fence.
Who would carry out such an act?
Then it dawned on her: the peepholes had been cut from the inside, indicating that her partner, Dean, was the only possible culprit.
But, why would Dean undertake such a task? Are there not other alternatives to embellish their fence? Perhaps by painting it?
The primary objective of these peepholes wasn’t to beautify their backyard.
It was to allow Billie and Seymour, their dogs, a clearer view of the neighborhood and an opportunity to catch sight of Erin returning home from her job.
The dogs previously had to force their button noses through a small opening that already existed in the fence. They would always sniff Erin thoroughly through it. However, inserting their noses into such a narrow hole became perilous. In time, they would end up with an irritating splinter.
Thus, Dean took necessary action. He grabbed a tool, enlarged the peephole, and added a couple more. There was one designated for Seymour and another for Billie. And, indeed – they resembled a pair of Mickey Mouse heads.
The dogs were ecstatic now that they had a clearer view outside.
As soon as Dean entered the house, Billie and Seymour began to test their new peepholes. Moments later, Erin pulled up, returning from work. The timing couldn’t have been better.
She utterly melted upon viewing the faces of her beloved pups. The moment was far too amusing to overlook. The entire neighborhood was eager to witness the peepers in action, including a fellow furry friend.
Their neighborhood buddy, Wynnie, longed to partake in the fun. With only the fence separating them, Dean had to engage in another creative project: he constructed a small gate between the neighbors, allowing the dogs to come and go freely.
Unsurprisingly, it brought immense joy to all three of them.
Whether racing around or observing the neighborhood through those Mickey-shaped peepholes, Seymour, Billie, and Wynnie are thoroughly enjoying themselves!
