Luckily, due to the brilliant talent of Mandy Helwege, a digital artist hailing from Denver, Colorado, many individuals are experiencing their dreams realized!
Over the last several years, Mandy has been crafting stunning portraits of dogs (and various other animals), showcasing their adult forms photoshopped alongside their puppy counterparts. And, as you might have anticipated, she’s absolutely excelling at it!
It Appears So Authentic And Heartwarming At The Same Time
It all commenced as an absolute pastime when Mandy opted to photoshop her own dog, Elliott, into this distinctive portrait. She aimed to create the perception that his puppy self exists simultaneously with his current self, and people adored it!
Before long, she began crafting these portraits for acquaintances until it transformed into a genuine full-time endeavor.
“I have been creating these since 2018. I initially made them for my own pets before friends started inquiring, and when strangers began offering to pay for them, I sensed I was onto something,” Mandy shared on Instagram.
The most wonderful aspect was – she managed to blend all of her favorite activities and earn a living from it. Being a dog enthusiast herself, Mandy entered this artistic avenue to assist people in preserving their memories and crafting ones that endure forever.
“My pets have always been my primary source of motivation and the entire reason I create these for others nowadays,” Mandy articulates on Instagram.
