Frankie, a five-week-old Pit Bull puppy, experienced sadness and bewilderment for the first time in his existence after being cast aside by his family.
They placed the tiny creature in a Pampers diaper box and abandoned him on a West Side property in Buffalo, New York.
The little one peeked his charming head out from the box and scanned the surroundings with eyes brimming with desire.
He wished that a compassionate human would spot him and take him to safety.
The Puppy Receives Assistance
A local entrepreneur named Robin was taken aback when she spotted the most adorable puppy, later named Frankie, sitting in front of her shop.
The kind woman picked up the little one and assured him that he would receive help.
Frankie felt a wave of relief upon seeing a gentle face. The little pup realized he was in safe hands.
Robin was a devoted supporter of West Side Cat Rescue, a shelter situated in Buffalo, and she contacted them, requesting that they take Frankie into their custody.
Jamie Mulligan, the founder of the shelter, received Robin’s call.
Jamie presumed that the individual who discarded Frankie outside Robin’s shop understood that the little creature would receive the essential care.
The rescue team consented to take the puppy in and lavish him with care. They declined to surrender him to an overcrowded shelter.
“Unfortunately, the local shelters here are filled with pit bulls that no one is willing to adopt, so Jamie was aware she couldn’t bring him to an overcrowded shelter,” the representative from West Side Cat Rescue informed The Dodo.
Frankie enchanted the hearts of the staff. The little one simply yearned to be embraced. He craved affection more than anything else.
His shelter companions transported the lovable pup to the veterinarian where he underwent a medical examination.
Once the kind-hearted humans provided him with puppy food, a leash, and a collar, Frankie was prepared to enter foster care.
Frankie Discovers True Affection
Jamie’s daughter, who frequently assists at the rescue, decided to foster the charming little boy.
Frankie’s existence transformed entirely after relocating to his foster home. His foster mother embraced him and enveloped him in affection.
As time progressed, the little one established a deep connection with his foster mother.
When Jamie’s daughter mentioned her desire to rename the puppy, her family recognized that she had fallen for him.
The pup’s permanent mother chose the new name Percy for him.
“It seems that [Jamie’s] daughter has grown attached. Percy is now a foster fail,” the representative shared.
The lovely pup felt secure and cherished in the arms of his permanent mother. As he relished her unconditional love, his beautiful puppy eyes sparkled with joy.
Percy realized he had found his happily ever after.
