When Californian jail guards spotted a tiny intruder in their parking lot, they immediately rushed into action.

They spent weeks trying to befriend the furry animal, but had no success. This furball was just too scared to let anyone approach her, yet she had no other place to go. That’s why instead of disturbing her, the guards came up with another plan.

They set a comfy bed and left food for her in a corner, and then contacted Suzette Hall, a long-time rescuer from Irvine, California.

She Was So Scared Of Everyone

Hall, the founder of Logan’s Legacy, dropped everything to help the furry creature in need. Upon reviewing the pictures the guards sent her, she realized the intruder was a tiny Chihuahua.

She roamed the parking lot for about two weeks, refusing to let anyone near.

“This tiny little girl was in a jail parking area for two weeks. To think she was there all alone and so scared for so long makes me sad,” Hall wrote in a Facebook post.

As the dog refused any help, the guards who tried to befriend her left food for her on a daily basis. They also set a dog bed so she could have a nice place to rest.

When Hall approached her for the first time, the dog, later named Tiny, frantically ran away again. As this wasn’t uncommon behavior in stray dogs, Hall knew just the right way to capture her safely.

She set up a humane trap with a bed in it and waited. Not only half an hour later, she found Tiny in it. After so many days of surviving on her own, she was finally safe!

Realizing Tiny was finally on the way to a new start, Hall couldn’t contain her tears of joy.

“I cried because her two weeks of being alone were finally over. This little tiny girl was finally safe,” Hall wrote.

Little did she know that this brave dog’s life would change forever only a few weeks later!

Amazing News

Within weeks, Tiny transformed into a brand-new dog. After receiving the necessary vet treatment at a local clinic, she slowly came out of her shell.

Hall was beyond happy to see her evolve into the friendly social butterfly she was all along. Tiny suddenly began to make friends, sleep better, and feel more comfortable around people.

“These are the afters that I dream of,” Hall wrote in another post.

Thanks to Hall’s efforts, Tiny’s rescue journey ended in a loving forever home next to an amazing family.

She’s already settled in perfectly. Tiny is all about doing zoomies around the house and wearing adorable outfits.

“Tiny has been adopted. Look at her in her little coat and boots. I just can’t take the cuteness overload. Happy life sweet baby girl. I love you so much,” Hall added.

With her past behind, Tiny can’t wait to embark upon many exciting adventures with her loved ones.
